May playlist

Hola,

I'm very very sorry I haven't posted in ages- I hope I can begin to post more regularly as the weather gets warmer and I can do more clothes based stuff.

People seemed to like the playlist posts I do, so here is one for the month of May!

Again, it's very eclectic, with every song more or less being a different genre, but I think it's nice to listen to a mix of stuff.

  1. Nan You're a Window Shopper- Lily Allen
  2. I Speak Because I Can- Laura Marling
  3. A Walk to Paradise Garden- Frederick Delius
  4. Silk- Giselle
  5. Mushaboom- Feist
  6. Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity- Gustav Holst
  7. Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want- The Smiths
  8. Halo- Florence Welch (Radio 1 Live Lounge cover)

january playlist!

Hello everyone,
I've really been listening to a lot more music during January. Maybe because of the long bus journeys to school, or lying in bed with the flu for the past three days, I've always had my headphones in and I've been enjoying lots of different genres, from folk to electronic to classical.
Below is a list of some of my favourite tracks this month: I think they're all available on Spotify if you want to have a listen!

  1. Oh Marcello - Regina Spektor
  2. Heavy Heart - Abi Wade
  3. Prélude, from Suite Bergamasque - Claude Debussy
  4. Laura- Bat for Lashes
  5. Tesselate - Alt-J
  6. My Manic and I - Laura Marling
  7. Wildfire - Sbtrkt ft. Little Dragon
  8. Crave You - Flight Facilities ft. Giselle
  9. Ready for the Floor - Hot Chip
  10. Shelter- Birdy
  11. Service Bell- Grizzly Bear & Feist

trainers

Sorry for the lack of posts these last few weeks. A combination of Christmas/ ill grannies/ oboe has slowed me down a bit. But, I am determined to post a lot more frequently now it's a new year, and a new school term, so yay!

I've been searching for some style inspiration, and this trend among many fashion bloggers and YouTubers caught my eye.

Trainers
Recently, I've spotted a hefty amount of bloggers wearing sports trainers with dresses, skirts, or trousers. I'm not talking the usual teenagery Nike Blazers or Vans, but more along the line of neon running shoes. Nike and New Balance are my fave brands for this style; below are some great looks.

I hope to get my hands on some Nike Free Runs when I've saved up my pocket money :) What are your opinion on trainers and skirts? Do you think it's a massive fashion faux pas, or do you quite like it?
